Oh So Mellow and Mashed Butternut Squash with Sprightly CBD

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1 c. chopped pecans (in the case of a nut allergy, replace with crushed vanilla wafers)
  • 2 1/2 c. mini marshmallows


  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. If you have the set-aside meat of your butternut squash from the Spinach and Art-I-Chill recipe, grab that and use it for this dish. If you are starting with a fresh butternut squash, place it in the microwave for 2-3 minutes to soften, then slice in half lengthwise.
  3. Separate the squash from the seeds and cut the meat into cubes. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook squash until tender (roughly 15 minutes). Drain and mash while hot.
  4. While mashing, add sugar, milk, vanilla, flour, eggs, butter, and your dropper full of Sprightly full spectrum 2400MG CBD oil or 600MG CBD oil.
  5. Make sure the added ingredients are well incorporated into the squash mash and pour into a greased 9x13 casserole dish.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until set.
  7. While baking, begin to prepare your topping. Mix together the brown sugar, flour, and butter until it begins to clump together.
  8. With roughly 10 minutes left to bake, remove the squash mash from the oven and crumble this mixture over the top, then sprinkle pecans and marshmallows on top of the mixture and return to the oven to finish cooking and to brown the topping.
  9. Gather your loved ones and enjoy the dish and the full spectrum hemp oil benefits you will be receiving with every bite!

A holiday favorite, but can be enjoyed any time of the year! If you are preparing this dish for a gathering of various ages, a simple fix to allow everyone to enjoy is before dishing the mash into the casserole dish, separate the mixture in half, and add CBD to one bowl, and not the other. Continue on with the recipe instructions, but simply splitting the topping mixture in half and using two 8x8 pans instead of one 9x13. Be sure to remember which pan has the CBD in it, but this way children can enjoy a sweet, yet healthy treat while the adults can enjoy their sweet, healthy, and CBD covered casserole.
