Shirley Temples have been a fan-favorite in people of all ages for over three decades. The drink is named after a little girl named Shirley Temple, who had her own show back in the late 50's and early 60's. Some say the drink was created in a Los Angeles restaurant called Brown Derby. The actress herself said she didn't even like the drink, but it seemed to suit her bubbly personality. It's a pretty simple drink to make, traditionally made with ginger ale and grenadine syrup, topped with maraschino cherries. Since its creation, people have come up with quite a few variations of the drink. Here at Sprightly, we decided to create our own recipe, including our 600mg CBD oil!

The Sprightly Shirley

As stated above, the traditional drink is made with ginger ale, grenadine, and cherries, but at Sprightly, we wanted to add our own little twist to the famous, fizzy drink.

Based off of this recipe by Culinary Hill, our recipe includes:

• Ice
• 8oz. of Sprite/7UP
• 1oz. Maraschino cherry juice
• 1mL of Sprightly's 600mg CBD oil
• As many maraschino cherries as you would like!

You can measure the ingredients as you would like, making the cherry flavor stronger if you would like. We recommend using one ounce of cherry juice for every 8 ounces of soda. You can also add a splash of orange juice to make it more flavorful. To include Sprightly's 600mg CBD oil, just take the dropper, measure 1 mL (one serving), and drop the oil into the drink! You can use a drink stirrer to mix it, and then enjoy!
